Microsoft launches PhotoSynth
Microsoft PhotoSynth is a new, free service that transforms digital photos into a 3D, 360-degree experience. With PhotoSynth, you can look up or down, pan from left to right, zoom in, or pull back to reveal the full sense of where you were. PhotoSynth was first revealed by Microsoft 2 years ago, and has now been officially launched.
You need 20 to 300 photos to make a synth. Once you have built your synth, you can embed it on a website or blog.
